Welcome to One World One Heart on Just Jingle! *Giveaway!*

I am so excited to, once again, be participating in Lisa's fabulous One World One Heart event this year! This event has been running for five years and this is the last one, so I can't WAIT to meet lots of fantastic new artistic bloggers! I have made some incredible blog friends through this event!

For those of you who are visiting for the first time, my name is Jingle and love to create! I love to have fun and that is generally pretty evident on my blog! I do a lot of card making, mixed media work, stamping, and doll making. You know...I'm an artist with too much inspiration and not enough time! HA! I began as an avid scrapbooker and it all just sprung for there! OH! And I have blue hair. Well, not entirely...just streaks, but I love it. I also really love to laugh. It's good for you. Just say'n. I also have an amazingly wonderful Hubbums, two black labs, Maggie and Thatcher (yup...they are named after her...), and live in a happy little city in Massachusetts in a happy little house in a happy little neighborhood. I have a couple of cool parents and a fabulous sister who also loves the arts, as she is an actor by trade. Basically, I'm me. And me is pretty awesome. Just say'n.

For my door prize, I am giving away one of my art dolls! Meet, Evanthe!

DSCN7334

She is a cloth and clay doll ready to greet you with a bunch of pretty flowers! She is made with Samantha Walker fabrics for Riley Blake and Creative Paper Clay. I painted her with watercolor and acrylic paints and embellished her with ribbon and trim!

If I get more than 200 entries, I will also give away an ATC for every 100 entries. I will be working on these throughout the event, so I don't have photos yet!

All you need to do to enter to win Evanthe is to have a blog (that's the point...to meet LOTS of other fabulous bloggers!) and leave a comment here letting me know where I can find you so I can come visit! If you enjoy my blog, I would LOVE to have you follow (but it is totally not required)! That pretty much makes my day when I see a new follower around here! Just say'n. Also, feel free to check out the OWOH event and join in the fun with your own post and giveaway!

So...it's THAT easy! The giveaway closes on February 17th! I'm excited to meet you!!!!

You're My Cup of Tea

It snowed. Again. Enough Said on THAT. Just say'n. Seriously...Maggie and Thatcher, my labs, LOVE snow and even they are tired of it covering up their yard and making it difficult to move around. Poor girls! LOL! But, alas, what can we do?

I have a fun Valentine to share with you today! Is it just me, or do coffee drinkers have an edge as far as stamps go? It seems like it's always easier to find coffee stuff than tea stuff. Well, I say HMPH to that! HA! This is a fabulous stamp from Scrolls Work. I absolutely LOVE the detail on the tea cup! So cute! This one is for the tea drinkers!

My Cup of Tea

That gorgeous background? Yup. That's totally the Cream Hearts Holey Cardstock by Samantha Walker for Creative Imaginations. LOVE THAT!!!!

You're My Cup of Tea (sentiment)

I inked the tag and the cardstock with the stamped image to give them a warm feel. I think I like it, but I'm still not totally sure on that one. HA!

You're My Cup of Tea (image)

I love the blue tone (Twighlight by CTMH) ink combined with the white to create the china look on the tea cup. That was fun!

I am also entering this in the Gingersnaps Hot Beverage challenge. I hope to do another one with the hot beverage theme, but I wanted to toss this one in, too!

I hope you have a super fantastic Thursday!!!

100 Proof Moxie Fab- We Are Talking Hard Core Rubber, folks! {WOYWW}

Stamps, my friends! Not 100 Proof liquor. Sorry for those who came looking for that. HA! ACTUALLY, I'm super excited to tell you about 100 Proof Press!!! This stamp company has been around for over 30 years! Yes, you read that correctly, THIRTY years! If you've been in the industry long, you know that is a LOOOONG time and quite impressive! AND...it is now under new ownership!!! The fabulous Sara Vukson has taken over and is already doing a bang up job with the company!!!

Sara sent me some stamps to show off and they honestly just arrived like two days ago, but I simply HAD to do a quick project with one last night because, well, quite frankly, I can't just let fresh rubber sit on my desk unused! HA!

happily. ever. after. (3)

Ummmm...yup. AWESOME images! Seriously! The catalog is AMAZING!!! This is just one of the images she sent, so you will be seeing some really fun projects coming up! 'Cause, seriously...just looking at these stamps is inspiring! No. For reals, folks. For. REALS.

happily. ever. after. 2

This card was not only inspired by this amazing stamp, but also by the seriously fabulous Moxie Fab Monochromatic Color Inspiration Challenge. Can you say PINKNESS???? Actually, the combo seemed really tricky for me at first, but as soon as this stamp arrived I had the PERFECT idea and now I am loving the monochromatic pinks! LOVING THEM!!!!

happily. ever. after. (4)

So...wanna know what my workspace looks like? Well, it DID look like a pink explosion, but I managed to get the papers scraps cleaned up last night! LOL!

WOYWW 1/26

Now, it just has minor pinkness remnants, a new bucket of spice drops to replace the former bucket of jelly hearts, and more RUBBER!!! I can't wait to play with those other images! Seriously...just LOOK at them!!! You know you wish you were here right now. Just admit it. Me, my crazy blue hair, spice drops, and 100 Proof Press image goodness! It's like a tiny slice of heaven, folks. A tiny. slice. of. heaven. Just Say'n.

Today is totally feeling like a Jingle Out kind of day, so prepare yourselves, ladies and gentlemen. Prepare yourselves. 'Cause it's totally coming.

Jingle. OUT!

Seven. Below. Yes, I'm aware that I am dwelling, but SERIOUSLY, folks??? Don't you think that's a weeee bit ridiculous. 'Cause I do. For reals.

Anyway, this fun little Valentine that I created is sure to make us all feel warmer! Okay...so that doesn't make any sense, but still, I want to share it, so I'm gonna, K? K. Thanks.

My Upcycled Fabric Wreath

I mean, really? What else was I going to do with a couple of old pillows and a wire hanger? For reals?

Upcycled Fabric Wreath

Let me tell you how this fun little wreath came to be.

My dog got sick because she chewed a plastic soda bottle. My OTHER dog's bed, therefore, had to be washed. The cover comes right off for washing, however, the inside needed washing, too, and, well, it came out kind of lumpy and a lot less FLUFFY. (Be sure to read the word FLUFFY as though you are Agnes from Despicable Me ever. single. time. It will just make your day more fun. Trust me on this one.) SOOOOO....The Hubbums decided to upcycle some old pillows that were in the trunk in the basement and so he promptly unstuffed them and used the batting to make a new inside for Maggie's bed. And NOW it is SO FLUFFY!!!!! WELLLLLLL....that left a couple of empty pillows....hmmmm...not sure they could really be called pillows anymore, but you know. WELL, I couldn't just let THOSE go in the trash, now could I? Nope. Nosirreeebob.

Thus...

IMAG0088

...the fabric wreath. I promptly plopped myself on the couch with a pair of pinking sheers and the pillow casings and cut lots and lots and lots and lots of small strips from the fabric.

Then, I grabbed a white wire coat hanger and tied lots and lots and lots and lots of small strips of cut fabric onto the hanger after shaping it into a lovely wreath shape. *Be sure to bend a hook or loop into the top for hanging!*

THEN...I added a sparkly red ribbon because I happen to like red Lots and lots and lots AND because I figure Valentine's day is coming AND I can always change the ribbon for the seasons AND 'cause I like it THAT'S WHY!!!!

And now I have a fabulous, simple, wonderful upcycled fabric wreath. And I love it. Lots.

And lots and lots.

Just say'n.

Lots of Projects! {WOYWW}

Here we are at yet another fabulous What's On Your Workspace Wednesday with our friends over at The Stamping Ground! *said in my best cheesy on-site game show host voice, mind you.*

Yes, my dear friends, it is that lovely time again when we gather together to play WHAT IS ON YOUR WORKSPACE????

Hmmmm....and what do you suspect to be on my desk on this fine Wednesday? Oh, yes, my friends, THE USUAL!!!!

WOYWW 19Jan11

HA! That being pretty much everything. Just say'n. Let's just say it has got a LOT of use this week! I mean a LOT! And I have plans to make it work even more, so THERE! You can see a rather large project on top there. That was inspired by a delightful little girl who happens to be the daughter of a delightful friend of mine. The Hubbums said he wants to make a frame for it so we can put it up in the house, so it is waiting for that stage in it's life.

You can also see a fabulous arrow ready for an upcoming project that I saw an another blog. Will share...will share. Just say'n.

AND...you can see a fabulous bin of gummy hearts. I LOOOOOOOVVVVVE gummy hearts. For reals. Love 'em.

DSCN7385

And then there are these beauties just waiting to be worked on some more. Well, at least they WILL be beauties. Don't tell them what they look like right now...I generally keep mirrors away from them at this stage as it can be a bit frightening to the poor girls! I mean REALLY!

So, that, my dear friends, is what is on my workspace right now. What's on yours?
