Holiday Cards with Pinkfresh Studio

Hello, friends! I hope those of you in the United States had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday with family and friends! Now I am definitely ready to dive into my holiday card making and I know my Pinkfresh Studio Christmas Wishes papers, stamps, and embellishments will be featured LOTS in my cards this year. I just love this collection! I have two holiday cards to share with you using the collection today!

For this card, I used the stamps, layering them to create the wreath and then stamped the sentiment in a nice, crisp red. I then used the puffy stickers (MY FAVORITE!) to add details to the wreath, placing the dove in the center.

For this super fun card I let the awesome patterned papers be the star! I then added a strip of striped accent and a rubber sticker (my OTHER favorite), for the sentiment. This card was ridiculously simple, but I seriously love how adorable it turned out!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everyone! Today we have a brand new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog and it is a great one for this holiday weekend! It's ANYTHING GOES time! The Design Team is featuring Altenew products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you have some we'd love to see what you do with them!



I pulled out the Altenew Quilled Elegance stamp set along with a set of Altenew dye inks to create my card for today. I love that these inks come in cubes so I can get lots of colors without a lot of cost! YAY! I did a little smooshing on watercolor paper for the color and then added the image in black ink over the smooshed ink. I colored in the letters using the Wink of Stella black brush. This has gold glitter in it, making it a perfect match for these warm color tones.



I love how that Wink of Stella adds so much sparkle to the finished design! A simple strip of paper form the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka 6x6 paper pad finishes off the card.

I used the SUPER CUTE Jingle All The Way set. I would explain why I had to have this set, but let's be honest... you all already know. 'Cause you're cool like that. *wink* I colored the images with Spectrum Noir pens and added a simple sentiment banner. I love this one. Lots. Because .. SO CUTE!

Because You Matter {CAS-ual Fridays Sistahs Blog Hop}

Ombre Snowflakes are Awesome, Yo

For reals. They are. And this snowflake stamp from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps is already a staple for this years holiday crafting stash! Seriously... it is perfect for a huge impact focal point on cards which makes mass production super easy! LOVE THAT!



I used ombre ink to create the awesome colored flakes and then added some sparkly sequins to make it shimmer! I like shimmer. And shine. Because... SHINY!

Because Intense Watercolor Makes Me Happy

Hello, folks! It is a glorious rainy day here in Boston! That is okay, though, because we have a brand new Simon Says Stamp Challenge for you today and I pulled out some intense watercolor for my card! Yup. That's right, watercolor doesn't have to be soft and subtle. It can be all about the color! Our challenge this week is to create Thinking of You cards and the Design Team is showing of Hero Arts products this week! You don't have to use Hero Arts to play along, but if you've got some, we'd love to see what you do with them!



I created this awesome background using a KP Hero Arts background stamp, embossed in white on watercolor paper. I then loaded on the warm, fall color tones in random fashion for a happy, inviting look. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum and wrapped it around the background panel so it would stand out, but not take away from the colors at all.



A simple puffy sticker from Pinkfresh Studio finishes off the card with just a little added texture and visual interest.

I decided to have a little fun with this one. I created my own turkey using the leaves from the Simon Says Stamp One With Nature Set and then added a fun sentiment from the Thanksgiving Table set. I used all Simon inks for this one, too. I absolutely LOVE my Simon inks! For reals.

Thanksgiving Blessings

Hello, folks! I have a little quick tutorial up over on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog! I combined an older favorite with a new favorite for this super fun card!



I colored the flowers using copics, you can find the colors I used over on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog. I love how these turned into gorgeous fall flowers using some warm tones!
