Today I want to share one of my art pieces that I created using Amazing Mold Putty and the Amazing Cast Resin. This piece is called Forgotten in Time. It is a cast of my own hand, and, as you can see, the fingers are blurred a bit demonstrating the motion that is time. Time induces change. Time induces adventure. Time induces discover. But, in all of that, some things are left behind. Forgotten. Despite our human efforts to remember, some things simply do not last in the memories of mankind. They are...Forgotten in Time.
You can see the full tutorial on how I created this piece on the Amazing Mold Putty Blog. Thanks for checking it out!
This is such an amazing idea! I would love to try it out. My best friend has a "thing" for hands and has got quite and extensive collection of hands in different shapes and forms. I would love to make one for her birthday of my own hand. I checked out the tutorial and it looks simple enough. My only problem is that I live in South Africa and I'm not sure where I will get hold of this molding putty???? I have one question and I will appreciate so much if you could let me know. Once the mold has set around your hand - how do you get the mold off your hand? Or is the putty so flexible and stretchy that it allows you to pull your hand out? (my e-mail address is michellevdeventer@gmail.com)
This is amazing! I love it. I have to go check out the tutorial now. TFS.
