It's Wednesday...My Workspace is insane, as per usual, BUT I did get some happy mail!
Well, it is officially What's on Your Workspace Wednesday and, quite frankly, mine is it's usual disaster. As my Christmas gift to all of you, I am going to spare you a picture of the mess! HA! However, I do want to show you a few things that are ON my workspace at the moment! YUP! FUN STUFF all around!
I had the chance to participate in a Secret Santa swap over at Lillyella and just LOOK at the wonderful package that the fabulous Emmeline sent to me!
Can you SEE all those fabulous little bits and bobs? I am SO excited! And LOOK!!! JINGLE BELLS!!!! Perfect! Just say'n.
AND....then there is this FABULOUS card! I know...I shouldn't say that about my own work...all that humility mumbo jumbo and such, but I DO REALLY love this one!
The gorgeous bird stamp is from Scrolls Work and I colored it with Prismacolor pencils. The papers are all Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon is CTMH.
So...that's what's on my workspace right now! As per usual for the week prior to Christmas, life is crazy, insane, and hectic with a whole lot of fun mixed in! I hope you are having a fabulous week!
Happy WEDNESDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!

You're Such An Angel! Sketch Tuesday at Skipping Stones Design!
Yup! I'm talking to you! You are SUCH an Angel! Especially those of you who are awesome and visit regularly and those of you who comment! I love my blog readers, I really do!
I created this card using this week's sketch over at Skipping Stones Design! I used the brand new Brrrrthday set! I love the winter images in this set that let you use it for ALL KINDS of great cards! Not every winter card has to be holiday related! YAY!!!
The papers are from the Mitten Weather collection by Cosmo Cricket. I love them!!!!
Oh...and an update on yesterdays holiday panic...I accomplished a major gift task yesterday, so I am feeling a *tad* bit better on that front. Now I just have to hope it is actually WANTED! HA! I'm fighting off an ear infection, but the fight seems to be working, so that's good. AND...today I'm wearing cute dark jeans with a short grey knit skirt and my favorite Etsy/American Apparel tee over a long sleeve tee with my zebra Madden flats so I'm pretty much happy. It's amazing what an outfit you love can do to your mood. Just Say'n! Anyway...Happy Tuesday before CHRISTMAS!!!!

Have You Finished Your Christmas Shopping?
'Cause, I totally haven't. No, for reals, you guys, this is serious. I'm sort of in panic mode. I don't have a lot of gifts to buy, but the ones I need to buy are sort of important ones. *sigh* 'Tis the Season! HA! BUT...I am having super lots of fun creating cards, still, so that's a good thing!
This is a super fun card created with Echo Park papers and a SUPER fun Scrolls Work Stamps image! It's called Santa's Suit Set and it comes with the jacket I used here and Santa's hat and boots, too!
I colored his jacket with...wait for it.... SHARPIE! Yup! That's how I got that beautiful vibrant red! I love it! Then I added silver paint pen to his belt buckle and finished his trim with some Stickles! And...I don't know if you noticed, but I went a little old school and used some of my shaped eyelet stash on this card, too! I love the way they look!!! So fun!
Sooooo....now that I made this adorable little card with Santa's adorable little coat...he's gonna show up and take care of the rest of my shopping, right? Right. K. Good. I feel better now! HA! Have a fabulous Monday!

A Scrolls Work Poinsettia Card and a WINNER!
I know I don't usually post on the weekends, but with all of these cards, I just HAD to share them before Christmas!!! So, here is one I created using the Scrolls Work Mirrored Poinsettias! These are SO pretty! I loved giving them the fabulous colors! I colored them with Prismacolor pencils after stamping with Momento ink.
I accented the card with gold glass glitter! Have I mentioned how much I'm in love with this stuff? 'Cause I'm pretty much totally and completely in love with this stuff. Just say'n.
Yup. Love. For reals. Complete and Totally. Just say'n.
ALSO...I wanted to announce the winner of the Sew Mama Sew giveaway! The winner is.....
JESSICA!!! Congratulations, Jessica! Go ahead and email me your address and I will get your goodies sent out to you!

Snowmen Spend Christmas in a Flurry!
And boy am I there with them right now! HA! Is anyone with me? Usually I don't feel like I'm in a flurry as we don't do a ton of gift shopping and we don't have a lot of parties to go to and stuff, but for some reason, I'm feeling as though I'm in a bit of a flurry right now! It's okay, though...it's all part of the fun of the Christmas season! I love it!
This card uses a really adorable snowman image from Scrolls Work. I sort of went all out on the techniques for this sucker! LOL! First, I stamped the image on scrap paper and then cut carefully around the tree. I had to keep both sides in tact, as I used each side as a mask while stamping the other. I stamped the snowman in white...'cause he's made of snow and stuff. Just say'n. And then I stamped the tree in green. 'Cause, um....trees are green, generally. THEN I used a glue pen to fill in his scarf, earmuffs, and the ribbon on his magical hat and flocked those areas for the warm and cozy look. I finished off the tree with some fabulous red glitter glue decorations! CUTENESS!!!!
If you have a moment, Srolls Work is trying to get to 500 Facebook fans! Come help out and tell her Jingle sent ya and then send your friends over to win some free RUBBER!!!!
The papers are all Jillibean Soup kraft fabulousness! I love them!!!! And...this card is also my submission to the Snow People challenge over at Gingersnap Creations!
I hope you all have a super fabulous Friday! Today is the LAST DAY to enter my Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day Giveaway (see link at top of blog)! It has been SOOO fun meeting so many fabulous new bloggers!!!

Joy Wall Decor - Tips and Tricks Thursday - Full Tutorial
Well, I thought this was going up today and I mentioned it in my last post, but since it hasn't yet, I figured I'd go ahead and post the full tutorial here so you guys don't miss out! So...here it is!!!!
Well, let's be honest, it doesn't have to be HOLIDAY decor, as you could totally do this any time of year, but since it's the season, let's go with it, K? K. Thanks for having my back on this one.
Today we are going to create a fabulous hanging decor piece!
Warning: This tutorial contains a particular set of words WAY too often. Just say'n.*
You will need: Chipboard letters spelling out the word of your choice, Your favorite Skipping Stones Design background stamps, acrylic paint, embossing powder and heat gun, VersaMark (or other embossing ink), glimmer spray, glitter glue, glitter, wire, ribbon.
Begin by painting your letters white - I just used Gesso to get a good coat on there, but you can use white paint, too.
Wait for that to dry.*
Next, stamp your background images onto your letters. I used Timeless Textures with VersaMark ink for this step.
Cover the inked images with embossing powder. I suggest doing this letter by letter to avoid having your ink dry on you!
Heat emboss each letter completely.
Once all of the letters are embossed place them in a cardboard box and spray them liberally with shimmer spray.
Wait a minute or two for that to begin to dry. *
Use a tissue or paper towel to wipe off the excess spray. Your embossing powder will have created a really pretty resist effect!
Wait for that to dry.*
Carefully edge each letter with a good glitter glue.
Edge each letter with glitter to add sparkle!!!!
Wait for that to dry.*
Create small decorative loops with wire and attach them to the back of each letter with the adhesive of your choice.
Wait for that to dry.*
Add ribbon to accent them and then display somewhere for all to admire! These would be great ornaments, package toppers, or wall decor!!!
As for all that dry time - I suggest making dinner, having another project going, or becoming very good friends with your heat gun. Just say'n.
Jingle Out! :-)

And then She Just Emerged... {WOYWW}
I actually haven't pulled out my paper clay since we moved and last night all of the sudden I just HAD to sculpt! I pulled out some wire, formed a simple armature and she just danced her way right on out of the clay in my hands! I can't wait to continue working on her...I don't know quite who she is yet or where she came from, but she will tell me! She has already begun to share her secrets!
And this is my other project that I've put off WAY too long...Christmas cards! I need to make them!!!! I have to have the cards for the family done by Sunday and I haven't even begun them yet! I do have this fun Echo Park paper ready to go, though, and LOTS of great holiday stamps to play with, so I will get on those this week...hopefully! Just say'n.
So, that's what's on my workspace on this fine FREEZING cold Wednesday! Oh, and it's OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY day, so that should be fun!
