Don't Stop Believing

Just Hold on to that FEE-EE-LING!

You're welcome.

But, for reals, though. I have TWO, count 'em TWO fun CAS-ual Fridays Stamps cards for you today here and over on the CFS blog! Woot! I used the same stamp set two different ways and I sort of love it!!! I pulled out all the STOPS. Bwahahahaha!!! (See what I did there? 'Stops'. The set is called Stop. My cards say Stop. Get it? Get it?)

No, but seriously...

Don't Stop Believing

For this one, I went the traditional route with the sign, but then I used one of the stamps to create a border around the outer edge. I kinda love that border. Totally fun and it was wicked easy to do!

Never Stop Dreaming

Because mint and gold. For reals, though. I seriously ADORE this color combination! I embossed the sentiment to keep it strong a midst the graphic border pattern I created with the dies.

Be sure to keep an eye out on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog! The new Design Team members will be announced soon and there is ALWAYS lots on inspiration to be had!!!

Happy Birthday Candles

Today's card is a simple one that I just sort of love. The colors came together nicely and I love the softness of it. I used the candles4birthday stamp set from The Stamps of life along with a bit of tissue paper, some string, and some shinies for a pretty little birthday card.

Happy Birthday

I am loving the mint, audrey blue, and cotton candy color combination here! These are all from the Sweet Treats collection of inks from Simon Says Stamp. If you haven't tried their ink yet, you simply MUST! I love it so much!

Happy Birthday (detail)

I love that this card is so sweet, but still has a happy, festive feel to it. Yup. It's a happy one!

I am linking this up the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

Have a Happy!

True. Story.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

Hello, friends! It's Wednesday and that means that we have a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for you! This week is ANYTHING GOES week! Yup. Because we love you like that. The Design Team is using Memory Box products this week (which are AWESOME), so if you have some, show them off! You don't have to use them to enter, though. I pulled out my September card kit along with this super cute Memory Box desk lamp die for my card this week!

You're Fantastic. True Story.

Yes, this did take a bit of time due to the endless, errr...I mean, super fun fussy cutting. Yes, it was worth it. I just want to pull up a cozy chair beneath this shelf and read a good book!!! YAY! I love how the October Afternoon Public Library patterned paper made such a fabulous wallpaper look! LOVE IT! I also super love the little clock from the To Thine Own Self stamp set in September kit! Just. Love.

True. Story. (detail)

So. How'd ya like to win a $50 Shopping Spree at Simon Says Stamp? You WOULD? I'm shocked, really, I am! (No. I'm not.) For reals, though. WELL, all you have to do is create a NEW card and link it up to the challenge blog! No back linking is allowed, so please use new work. You can enter up to FIVE, count 'em, FIVE times, folks! Show us what you've got!

You can find links to the products I used on my card below. Those links, along with the links in this post (and the Simon link on my sidebar), are affiliate links, so if you order, I SO appreciate you using them!

Runway Rewind

So, you remember that one time, yesterday, when I posted my Runway Inspired Challenge card? Yeah, well, I have another one today. Dude. I TOLD you I loved that inspiration image! For reals, though.

Today's card uses basically the same sketch I used yesterday, only I moved the sentiment a bit, played with the colors, and used completely different mediums. So, in other words, it's the same, but different.

Here is a reminder of the inspiration picture just in case you were a slacker yesterday and didn't see my post yet. (Yeah, dude. I totes just called you out for that. I mean, seriously, it's not like you can't browse blogs while you watch the Emmy's. They are mostly boring, anyway. For reals.)

And here is what I created based on this wonderfully inspiring look!

Hello

I used some awesome stamps from Winnie & Walter and distress inks to get the watercolor look on these. I generally prefer to use watercolor paints over inks, but with these layering stamps, it was SO easy to use the inks for a great look!

Floral Hello (detail)

I added a touch of clear Wink of Stella to the banner and to the sentiment for just a bit of lovely shimmer. I just LOVE sparkle! I also used the same woodgrain paper that I used yesterday, from Carta Bella's Sew Lovely collection. This is a surprisingly useful paper pad to have around. I really like it, and I totally don't sew, dudes.

So, there you have it! Between yesterday and today two pretty different cards that are actually pretty much the same. Fun stuff, folks. Fun. Stuff. You can find a full list of supplies I used for this card below in the links.

Have a Happy!

I Need More Vellum in My Life

Seriously, though. This small 6x6 sheet of polka dotted embossed vellum came in a Simon Says Stamp Card Kit and I may or may not have hoarded it. Until now. And now I need more. Because I love it. And it makes me happy. K? K. Glad I shared that with you. Now... WHY do I love it? LOOK!

Happy Birthday

Ummm... because it helped me make this card and I love this card. Lots. It was so totally inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge photo. The one below. I LOVE this inspiration photo. So much so, I actually created two cards based on it. I haven't photographed the other one yet, so that will come later, but I HAD to share this one with you! I've had these great flower dies in my stash for some time and I hadn't used them yet, so when I saw the inspiration, I KNEW I had to use them! I love them. Lots. I may or may not be in a rather lovey mood today. At least in terms of paper crafting goodness. Or so it seems.

Seriously, though. Isn't that awesome? Bring that dress up above the knee and I would so love it!!!! (That length sort of makes my legs look like tree trunks, so I avoid it. For reals, though. I have big calves and I cannot lie.)

Happy Birthday (detail)

I love the bright, bold florals combined with the woodgrain. Seriously, though. That's pretty awesome. For reals. Oh...and I used clear foam tape to adhere the vellum, placing it strategically behind the die cut elements. I love that stuff. For reals, though.

Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous day.

Have a Happy!
