I have a card to share with you today. I'm curious to see your thoughts on it, as I haven't decided if I like it or not yet, so ... I guess I'm going to let all of you decide! HA! I created this one a few weeks ago when I got some super happy goodies in the mail all at once and really wanted to play with them!
Does that ever happen to you? Stuff shows up and you just HAVE TO GO PLAY?! It's fun! Just sayin'! So... the stamps I used on this one are from the GORGEOUS Imperfection is Beauty set by Donna Downey for Unity Stamp Company. I love this great stamp set! I combined it with a pretty paper from the Maggie Holmes 6x6 pad from Crate Paper and some shiny Kelly Purkey sequins from Simon Says Stamp!
For the sentiment, I inked the stamp with dye ink and then spritzed it with a bit of water for a sort of watercolor effect. I don't know if that worked or not...it definitely adds an interesting texture and that's kind of cool. I think it may have worked better with either a.) a different ink and/or b.) a different paper. It looks kind of neat, though.
Have a Happy!
