I'm Wishing I was There, too, actually...

Yup. This card pretty much speaks to me right now. I SO wish I was at the beach! You know...I live in freaking Massachusetts and I haven't been to the beach ONCE all summer! It's a sad, sad state of affairs, my friends. A sad state of affairs, indeed. HOWEVER, I can live vicariously through these GORGEOUS stamps from Gourmet Rubber Stamps! And that, my dear readers, is EXACTLY what I plan to do. Hmph! So there!

Wishing you were here

Ummm...how much do I love that sandcastle? Yup. Pretty much lots. Just say'n. Lots. And. Lots. It's a part of the amazingly awesome Pack Your Bags set, as is the waves stamp and that super pretty script sentiment. *sigh* I really want to go to the beach now. For reals, though, you guys. *BIG sigh*

Wishing You Were Here (detail)

I accented the castle a bit with some colored pencils. That beautiful ribbon is May Arts.

I hope you have an absolutely beautiful Sunday! Think of waves crashing and the smell of that beautiful fresh, salty air! And lobster. Never forget the lobster. Just say'n.

I'm going to link this card up to the CAS-UAL Fridays Splish Splash Challenge!

Jingle Out!

  5. I love your card:) You Know my husband is from the Cape area and we were lucky enough to be stationed in Mass for 7 years and didn't make it to the beach very often either:( I Miss it so much!

  16. I loved your card, but I so feel your pain! I live in Orlando, and if you are ever this way, let me know. Unfortunately, I am hours away from beaches but...we have lakes, and Mickey, too!

  17. What a great card. I'm with you-the beach is awesome. Unfortunately there's none near me so I have to settle for our once every couple of years trips to California.
