Skipping Stones Design - Feature Friday - Healing Wings

Happy Friday, folks! I am so excited to be bringing you all the FEATURE FRIDAY from Skipping Stones Design!!! Today I am featuring one of my favorite, if not my SINGLE favorite stamp set from Skipping Stones, Healing Wings.

I love that this set has such beautiful sentiments, and, well, BUTTERFLIES!!!! I do so love a great butterfly stamp and this set has THREE OF THEM!!! *gasp!*

Friends Give Color

I created this card by stamping the Butterfly Wing stamp twice on the patterned paper in two different colors. I cut them out and then layered them on this FABULOUS Webster's Pages paper! Then I used another one of the butterflies, the largest of them, stamped it with VersaMark ink and heat embossed a pearl finish over it. I wish you could fully see the gorgeous shimmer this has! The sentiment is neatly stamped over the twill, which I ran under the image by cuttting a couple of slits large enough to allow it to pass through.

And...since we are talking about this fun set, I shared this pretty card over on the Creative Imaginations blog on Wednesday, but in case you missed it there...

Buttefly Kiss

I stamped the dotted butterfly in colored ink and dotted it even more with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's. The patterned papers are all Samantha Walker for Creative Imaginations.

So, as you can see, this is, indeed, a favorite set of mine! AND...if you *need* it you can take advantage of the great sale over at Skipping Stones right now! Buy three and get one FREE! Just enter the code ONE FREE at checkout!

AND...I am giving away some Skipping Stones Design stamps, along with a bunch of other stuff today, so check out my Giveaway Day posts all day!!!
