Mom's are pretty great. At least, mine is, anyway! HA! My wonderful Mommy picked me up from work on Friday and we headed straight up to Wells Beach, ME for the night! It was GORGEOUS up there! We stayed right on the beach and listen to the waves crashing all night long! Then, we had our coffee/tea on the balcony watching the water in the morning! We went for a FABULOUS walk on the beach and then spent the day antiquing!!!!
It was fabulous! AND I found some amazing treasures! I have officially added two new vintage flower frogs to my collection and one of them is OVAL!!! I was literally jumping up and down in the store when I found them! LOL! And I got a GREAT deal! Only $5 each! I also found TONS of vintage buttons and bought one sleeve of ivory tones for 75% and an entire jar of browns for 50% off! Off season antiquing is THE BEST! I picked up 8 or so lace doilies, too, for dolls and other projects! Basically, I did REALLY well and had a GREAT time!
This is the card I made for my Mom. Sorry for not sharing it prior to Mother's Day, but, my Mom reads my blog, so .... well, you can see how that wouldn't work out so well. The papers are all Crate Paper, as is the label sticker. I LOVE this collection SO MUCH!
