Yup. That's my desk. We are moving house and pretty much the entirety of my studio has been moved already. SO, there you have it. My current workspace. Residing in the house that I will hopefully be moving into in two weeks or so.
That is most of my supplies. Well, excluding the few items that are still with me in my XXL tote and the few that were lost when the stuff fell of the truck on the highway. Yup. That totally happened. I'll write up a post on that one later. It's a story, let me tell ya!
BUT...most of the hard stuff is done. I don't much like packing. I don't hate it, mind you, but I don't love it. I DO, however, love UNPACKING! I love setting up a new studio and organizing and starting all fresh and new! I'm super excited about that! I will have to dive full thrust into the holiday crafting rush, but I'm cool with that. I can't wait!!!

I love unpacking too! I have always said it is like Christmas!! Stuff fell off the truck - that is just terrible! I would have stopped traffic screaming "my craft supplies" waving my hands all around like a crazy woman LOL

So if stuff fell off the truck then that means you need to go shopping to replace it right? Lol! I love unpacking too! It's the only good thing about moving!

ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about packing is it allows you to get rid of stuff that you haven't used in forever. Unpacking allows to start over fresh which is nice also. Good Luck.

Moving house is exiting! We have lived here almost 15 years, and I´m afraid we have now so much stuff that we can´t move anymore :D

Hey girl it looks like you have a good start on a new space. its going to look great!! You said that you like the little hats my snowman was wearing.. I just use old socks of my kids so they are all kinds of colors.. I was thinking about showing how to make them in a post.. if you want to know how to make them just send me a message and I will email it to you.. I have even used them on cards before. they are super cute!!

ReplyDeleteI hate packing things but unpacking things when you're not such what you're going to find (as long as there's no spiders) is great..if it has somewhere to go...we've just uncluttered our caravan as it's going to caravan heaven...and the 'stuff' is all in the hall...most of it not mine! Happy belated WOYWW!
