It's About Time! ***Giveaway***

Okay, so I have been extremely blessed by many bloggers out there who have offered awesome giveaways and have even been nice enough to draw my name as the winner! LOL! No, seriously, though...I have been fortunate and I have been feeling like I really need to give something back in some way since I am so amazingly grateful!

This weekend I put together a large bag STUFFED with scrapbook stuff for a friend who I hope will be able to use it. The thing is....I didn't even give her half of what I have to give! Yikes! Yes, folks, we are talking PURGE! De-Stash City, here folks! It's a little crazy!

SO...here's the deal... I am going to offer a De-Stash prize to one of my readers! The instructions for entering the giveaway are all down at the bottom of this post. Be sure to read carefully so that you fully qualify! Here is what I plan to do...
I am going to stuff one Flat Rate Priority USPS box with Crafty STUFF! As you know, I am a paper crafter, so it is mostly scrapbook supplies. Some items may be brand new, some items may be gently used, others items may include partial sticker sheets with lots still useable on them....you know how it goes...this is a de-stash, folks! I can promise you that it will be LOTS of stuff! I have already pulled paper, stamps, and embellishments that I know will be included.

Here's the deal...with every 50 comments that I get I am going to try to post a sneak of something that is in the box. That way it will be fun to watch the box grow as the giveaway continues. You have until midnight, Friday, March 13th to enter. I will try to announce the winner on the 14th since that's my sister's birthday and that seems like a good day to let someone win something fun!

Here are a couple of photos of some of the piles I am pulling from:

Paper! Paper! Paper!

Stuff!

So, there you have it! I may even throw in some non-crafty fun stuff if I get lots and lots of entries! That is always fun!

Ways to Enter
1. This step is REQUIRED! If this step is not completed no others will be counted. Please tell me if you purchase handmade goods and if you do, where do you get them. I'd love to know why you get them there, too!

Extra Entries:

2. Sign up as a follower of my blog. Be sure to leave an extra comment letting me know you have done so. If you are already a follower leave a comment because that counts, too!
3. Blog about this giveaway and include a link to this post, as well as the general link to my blog. Be sure to leave TWO extra comments letting me know you have done so with a link to your post. This counts as two entries, but you must leave two extra comments!
4. Follow me on Twitter and Tweet about this giveaway. Please leave an extra comment with the link to your tweet letting me know you did this!

Be sure you leave a separate comment for EACH entry. This is the only way they will be counted!
U.S. shipping addresses, please.
Be sure to leave contact info in case you win!

ETA: We have exceeded the 50 comments mark so here is a quick sneak! Just a little one! I will add more as we get more comments in! This is fun!

  1. I love to buy handmade and use etsy when doing so. If I am lucky enough to get to an art festival i will buy there...in fact last one I bought two purses, a booboo ice thingy for jay, a straw hat for the boat days, and I wish I could have gotten more! LOL Thanks for the fun chance at a giveaway!

  8. I do buy handmade goods because I usually support individuals instead of companies. Looks like the government is giving money to all the bigger companies, so who's looking out for the self employed... I AM!

  9. I love handmade stuff! My favorite place to buy is etsy, although before I knew about that site, I bought stuff off of ebay. I also like to go to local arts & crafts festivals and flea markets. My favorite things right now are little girl hairbows and paper crafts like handmade journaling spots.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I rarely buy handmade gifts, because I tend to make my own. If I do, it's usually at a charity bazarre or church bazarre in my own town. That way I can see the item first hand. I make my own cards, even did today for my mother-in-laws birthday. I like to buy patterns though for multiple types of crafts, except crochet and knitting, because a woman at church shares hers.

  31. I haven't bought handmade items in a while. In fact, I'm saving money up right now to buy my Mom her birthday gift from Etsy. I just hope I don't spend it all before I can save it!

  44. Where do I buy my handmade goods? That's an easy one! Etsy, of course. It is my one stop shop mostly because of the convenience of on-line shopping. As a mother of two young children, it is not, shall we say, always a pleasurable experience to take them into stores. :)

Great giveaway, Jingle. I love returning to your site time and again and always seeing your positive attitude come shining through.

I like to go to craft fairs, where people bring their own homemade crafts/goods and set up a table to sell them. Anything like Christmas decorations, to homemade scarves and aprons, fresh-baked bakery goods, to candles and jewelry. It's all one-of-a-kind, wonderful, reasonably-priced, made-from-the-heart finds!! Thank you for the contest!

  136. I love to buy handmade items. If it's throughout the year I get my things on etsy which is where I also try and sell my handmade items. If it's around the holidays I love to go to all the local bazaars and try and support the local artists by buying their handmade items. I love handmade.

  157. I buy handmade all the time! Unfortunately, I mean that almost literally :) I am on etsy as a seller & blog, so I am always seeing these great goodies. I tend to mostly buy from etsy, since that is where I spend most of my online time. But ArtFire has their share of my money. And Silkfair & Crobbies & Wink Elf & Shop Handmade & Cafe Handmade...and and and...are bound to get some too :)

All these places have such a large variety of artists, it's great to just browse too. That is why I have a treasury blog..for all the items I can't buy.
