Because Wallflowers and Love Notes

Hello, friends! I am quite excited to be falling back into my usual posting routine this week! You will see posts all week and I think you are going to like them! There is SO much going on!!! SO FUN!

Today I am up on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog! There is a bit of a fun announcement over there, too, actually! Along with that announcement, I have this card!

Just a Note by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #CASualFridaysStamps #Cards #BazzillBasics #SimonSaysStamp

I created this card using the Wallflower stamps and a sentiment from Love Notes. I used some brand new Simon Says Stamp ink colors and I am totally in love with this color combination! I used Stone, Apricot, and Thistle. Seriously...I feel like these colors were MADE for these stamps! They play so well together! I also used some sparkly Bazzill Bling cardstock in a coordinating color to add some shimmer to the design. Love that!

Just a Note by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #CASualFridaysStamps #Cards #BazzillBasics #SimonSaysStamp

I added a bit of May Arts string behind the sentiment. If you don't own a spool of this string... go. Buy some. Nowish. For reals, though. It is an absolute STAPLE in my studio! I love how just a bit adds so much to a card! LOVE IT!

You Are Amazing

You really are! And we have an amazing challenge for you this week, too! This week the challenge is BACK TO SCHOOL! We want to see your awesome back to school inspired projects! The Design Team is playing with My Mind's Eye products for this challenge. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you have some, we'd love to see them! Now... I know. It's in the wrong spot. I don't know HOW I did that, but I will be correcting it. Unfortunately, I have company and am writing this at the last possible moment to schedule it and can't go back and fix the card and rephotograph it. But know that I know. I promise. And it is cringe worthy. LOL!

You're Amazing by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #SimonSaysStamp #MyMindsEye

I used the fabulous Fancy That collection for this super fun card along with the Simon Says Stamp bookmark die set. I love these dies and they are perfect for the back to school theme!

Now it's your turn! Create something awesome based on the back to school theme and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store! Woot!

Feathers of Love

Have you SEEN the brand new August Pinkfresh Studio Kit? It really is another great one! I have created this card using the kit and the vellum from the recently released Happy Things 6x6 collection. These papers? Yup. Totally and completely in love!

The stamps in the kit are super cute and I, of course, super love the gold puffy alphabet! SO CUTE! I added just a bit of gold string behind the sentiment for some fun! Love it!

CTRL + ALT + Delete

Because sometimes we all need a bit of a do-over. For reals, though. This card is up over on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog today. Have you been keeping an eye over there? There is some fun stuff happening! AND we have a new release coming soon! Woot!!!

Do Over? by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #Cas-ualFridaysStamps #cardsI loved this graph patterned paper and was inspired by it to pull out the Tech Talk stamp set, as I haven't used this one in a while and I just love it! It is just so much fun! For reals, though! I added a couple of silver paper clips I had in my stash as accents, keeping the design simple and perfect for the engineer in your life!

These are Some Awesome Fish

No, seriously, you guys! These FISH! I love them! But I didn't make them. Nope. They are handmade paper fish that were created by a wonderful young lady who is preparing to begin third grade. She is a smart girl with a heart of gold. She is a thinker and a creator. She helps others and she gives entirely of her own accord. I'm telling you, this kid is AMAZING. And her Mom is pretty amazing, too. Kathy (her Mom) runs a blog called Bliss Habits. It is WELL worth your time. As a matter of fact, it is a gift each day. A moment just for you. I highly recommend it. You can also find her on her Bliss Habits Facebook page.

This young lady created these fish and is considering starting a small online business selling them to crafters and card makers like you and me! She sent me a few, absolutely free, to try out and show off!

Thank You So Much by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #BlissHabits #ThankYou #Cards

Yes. Those fish. She made them. By hand. And she sent me several in a variety of sizes including a tiny one that I absolutely LOVE!!!! For REALS, you guys! They are so well made, too! I was actually really super impressed by the craftsmanship. I couldn't have done it better myself and I work with paper a LOT, folks.

Thank You So Much by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #BlissHabits #ThankYou #Cards

I added the fish to a cute background paper and then stamped a simple thank you sentiment on a white panel across the card. A few enamel dots were the perfect accent along with these super cute fish!

Keep an eye on the Bliss Habits Facebook page, as I'm sure if these go up for sale it will be mentioned there! If not, I promise it WILL be mentioned HERE on my blog! Because I love them. And I will be first in line to buy some!

Have a Happy!

Drink Up! (And Eat, too...)

It's that time again, folks! We have a brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for you! This week it's all about the food and drink. We want to see you create something with a food and/or drink theme. No, we aren't asking you to stamp with spaghetti sauce. Although, if you wanna go ahead and give that a shot, nobody is stopping you. I'm just sayin'. For reals, though. Probs don't do that, k? K. Glad we had this little chat.

This week we are featuring Simon Says Stamp exclusive products. Many of the girls reached for some of the fabulous new goodies in the shop, but for this one, I simply HAD to pull out a set of old favorites! It HAD to happen, you guys. For reals.

Too Soon? by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #SimonSaysStamp #Cards

Yup. I pulled out the good ol' Adult Beverages collection. I used the image stamps, sentiment stamps, AND the dies for this one (you can find specific supply links below). I also loaded this sucker with sequins because... shiny.

Because Gold and Wood Veneer

Hello, friends! I am showcasing an awesome card using the July Pinkfresh Studio kit over on the Pinkfresh Studio blog today! This is another one that required  nothing more than the kit. I LOVE it when that happens!

Golden Thanks by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PinkfreshStudio #cards #thankyou

I used the gorgeous gold letters (Seriously... I love them so much. For reals, though.) along with the wood veneer hearts to create a clean and simple design that shines!

Golden Thanks by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PinkfreshStudio #cards #thankyou

I love the detail on these wood veneers. That bit of extra design adds so much and turns them into a wonderful focal point rather than simply an extra embellishment. LOVE!

In other news, the studio is coming along! I finally have a desk that is workable and boxes are slowly but surely finding themselves empty. Happy days, folks! Happy days! I should be back to full create mode very soon!

I Miss Your Face!

It's true. I do miss your face. It has been very slow around here and I miss creating and blogging! My studio is coming together, though, and I hope do get some things made this weekend. My hands need PAPER and STAMPS! Today, however, I have a brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for you! It's a TIE IT UP! Challenge! We want to see you using string, twine, or ribbon on your creations this week! The Design Team is featuring Paper Smooches today. You don't have to use them in your projects, but if you have some on hand, we'd love to see how you rock them! Paper Smooches has SUCH cute stuff! They have been a favorite of mine for a long time!

I Miss Your Face by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PaperSmooches #SimonSaysStamp #Cards

I used the absolutely ADORABLE Tick Tock clear stamp set for this card. I sort of kind of love and adore it. And this sentiment... LOVE IT! For reals, though. For. Reals. I added a bit of interest by stringing some May Arts Iridescent white string along with my watches. I love this look!

I Miss Your Face by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PaperSmooches #SimonSaysStamp #Cards
