JOY!

Happy Thanksgiving, folks!  I am sorry, as today is a scheduled (not by me) post and I wasn't closely paying attention to the dates when I created my assignments, so, alas, I have a Christmas card to share on Thanksgiving day!  Oooopsies!  LOL!  BUT...it is a REALLY pretty one, so hopefully that will make up for my indiscretion!  HA!

The Artist In Residence Theme for Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko this month was to work with the Glistening Line from Authentique.  I LOVE this line and have had SO much fun creating with it!  I combined it with some great stamps from Technique Tuesday (designed by Teri Anderson) and I just love how this turned out!

Tsukineko Joy

Ummm... Hello, big, beautiful silk bow.  I love you.  #thatisall

I, of course, added a bit of wink of stella over the ink to give it some shimmer.  YAY!  You can see a full tutorial for this cad over on the Imagine Crafts blog today!  To find the products I've used, check out the links below.  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Have a Happy!

How About a Little Bit of Ink?

It is Wednesday and that means it is time for a new challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!  This week, the design team is using some super fun goodies from Tim Holtz/Ranger!  As for the challenge, well, it's ANYTHING GOES time!  Make something fabulous over the holiday weekend and link it up!

Vintage Santa Christmas

I challenged myself to go a bit outside of my usual box for this one.  Since we were encouraged to use Tim Holtz products, I checked out my stash and pulled out a GORGEOUS stamp I've had around for a bit and then decided that inking was simply in order.  I mean, who can be inspired by Tim Holtz and NOT lay on the ink?!  LOL!  I 'colored' my image with distress inks!  SO FUN!  Of course, his beard is shimmering with Wink of Stella clear because I pretty much am having an affair with that thing.  Just sayin'.  I accented his hat with a bit of enamel accents, too!  SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Merry Christmas Santa

I also added some of that fabulous film strip ribbon from Tim Holtz.  I LOVE that stuff!  I don't use it often, but it is just SO much fun!!!  Plus... it totally comes in an little adorable tin and I love that.  Good stuff, folks.  Good stuff, I tell ya!  You can find links to ALL of the super fun goodies I used on this card below.

And, as per usual, the absolutely fabulously generous Heidi is offering one lucky participant (chosen at random) a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store!  Happy Happy to YOU!!!!!

Have A Happy!!!

Hello!

And.... one more from the WCMD pile!  I really hope you guys don't mind me sharing these.  I just really loved them, so I was excited to show them off!  YAY!  Today's was in the Hello category.  I had so much fun with this one!  The icons are simply squares of white cardstock and I used colored pencils to draw and color each one by hand.  I LOVE how they turned out!  I picked my favorite apps, of course!  LOL!

iPhone Hello

YAY!!!  I {heart} it.  This card is just so much fun!  The iPhone die is a Kelly Purkey one from Simon Says Stamp and it is AWESOME!!!!  (You can find it in the links below.)  I made a shaker with it and tossed in some shiny sequins and the icon squares.  I pretty much love that.  The speech bubble stamp and die are both from The Stamps of Life.

Yup.  I totally left that photo full size.  Why?  'Cause I LOVE the icons and I want you to SEE them!!!  LOL!  I just had a lot of fun doing them.  That's all, really.

And, with that, my friends, I wish you a HAPPY!!!
