Stampendous! and Envirotex Resin Come Together for Some fun!

The Stampendous! team is collaborating with Envirotex and man have we had some fun coming up with projects for you!  Each member of the team is sharing throughout the week and on Saturday we will have a blog hop with ALL NEW projects!  LOTS OF FUN STUFF, folks!  Just say'n.  I created a super easy project to share with you all today!  I made some stamped slate coasters coated in resin!  I pulled out the GORGEOUS flourish from the Cling Jumbo Romantic Border set!  I LOVE this stamp!  (You should right click on that link and go see it.  No...really...do it for me.  Just say'n.)

Stamped Slate Coasters

You guys, these were SO easy to do with the resin!  I stamped the flourish in white Staz On ink by Tsukineko directly onto the slate coaster.  Then I simply mixed my resin according to the instructions and brushed it on with a disposable foam brush!  I kept it pretty thick and was sure to coat the edges, as well.  I went over it with a blow torch just after coating to get rid of any bubbles.  (OKAY...so The Hubbums did that part... I  was too scared!  HAHAHA!)

  5. How cool! I totally need a blow torch....not sure how well that one would go over with Andrew. A blow torch + my craft room is likely to = house fire....
