There is just nothing better than puppies. Just say'n.

I SO couldn't wait to ink up this fabulous Constant Companions stamp set from Unity that I bought while at CKC! Seriously...cutest. image. EVER!!!! It just makes me happy. It's funny, The Hubbums and I are both dog lovers, so I showed him the set as I thought he would like it, too...he looked at it and nodded with a certain look in his eye that made me take notice...and that's when it hit me... "You don't like that it's a girl, do you?" "No." *insert sheepish look here* LOL! It was so sweet, actually! LOL! He really wanted it to be a little BOY on his bike with his pup just like when he was little! But, alas, this time it is a girl...and here is the card I created with it.

You Are Loved

The background of the card is created entirely with washi tape from Love My Tapes! *Squeeee!* I love them! I colored the image with PrismaColor colored pencils. I couldn't find my totillion to save my life, so I used a medical cotton swab to blend with OMS (the really tightly spun kind), but the rounded tip made it extra challenging...it works in a pinch, but I definitely won't be giving up my tortillions, that's for sure!

You are Loved (detail 2)

I cut the image out and adhered it with foam tape to give it lots of dimension and keep it from getting lost in the background patterns. I kind of like it! This was a super fun card to create and a bit outside my norm, so that's always fun!

I have another post coming up later this morning, so watch for that, as well! As always, I love your comments!!! Thank you for visiting!

Oh...and May the Fourth Be with You!

Jingle Out!
