Pwaaa! You're the Best! {WOYWW}

I have a fun card to share with you today! It's all about the kisses! YAY!!! Nothing like making a friend smile big with some love in their mailbox!

Pwaaa!  You're the Best!

I created this one using the Sealed With a Kiss set and the Everyday Sayings set from Gourmet Rubber Stamps. The patterned paper is Crate paper, the tape is from Love My Tapes, the rhinestones from Queen and Company, and the twine is from May Arts. I made this one just for fun and decided to enter it into the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol contest, too! FUN!!!

WOYWW 23May 2012

And this is the current state of my workspace. Yup. It's WOYWW time over at Julia's blog. I announced, after getting home from work last night, that it was most certainly time to stamp. SO...that being the case, I went to my desk and prepared a card base to get started. As you can see...that's as far as I got! LOL! I went to figure out what stamps I wanted to use and ended up going through a bunch and taking out stamps I need to sell or give away and never got to actually stamping anything. It all started with looking for a set that is new and I haven't even used it yet, but it appears to have vanished off the face of the Earth. What is particularly odd is that it came with the stamping tool and another set that go with it, and those are right where I expected them to be, but the other set is just gone! It's driving me a bit batty, actually. HA!

Well, that's enough chatter for today!

Be sure to head on over to The Skipping Stones Design blog today for DAY 2 of the AMAZING blog hop with The Twinery!!! It starts at 8am Eastern - and if you didn't hop yesterday, check out that, too! There are GREAT prizes to be won!!!!

  5. Great Gallery Idol card, Jen! Love the sentiment...must have been made just for you:)
    I know how you feel about searching for a stamp set you know you purchased. I did that same thing a few weeks ago and found it in the most unusual place...the trash! LOL. I threw away the shipping box stuff and everything that was in my hand at the time. Silly me! Good thing I hadn't emptied my trash cans yet.

  7. It's so good to know that I'm not the only one who gets that 'where the heck did it go?' Usually it's right where it belongs, but that one time...actually, then it's usually right in front of me, just slightly covered by something else. Sigh.
    Love the sentiment on that awesome encouragement card :)

  17. There is a movie called "Gaslight" and it is about a man who drives his wife mad (like her off rocker, not angry) by moving things around and hiding things and telling her, "Of course I didn't do it. You must have done it. There is no one else here." There is even a psychological syndrome called gaslighting after this movie where someone makes another nuts or filled with self doubt. ANYWAY.... long story to tell you that when I can't find things that should be where they should be or at least in the surrounding areas, I am certain my hubby is gaslighting me. ONLY... I'm too smart to fall for it. I won't go insane but I might say a cuss word or two. And *mwah!* Love the kiss card.

  23. I think there's something about paper crafters....we all seem to get distracted easily and have hoarding tendencies, lol! I think just about everyone can relate to your predicament!!! Hopefully the set turns up soon because that is SO frustrating!

  25. Love that card. Simple yet so cute. Your table cracks me up. Mine looks like that most of the time, with all my stuff crammed all around and a little space in the middle just big enough to make something.
