Summer of Color Bird Song Tags

I have been really wanting to play along with Kristin's Summer of Color, but until now I haven't been able to find the time. When I saw that this week was brown, I was so totally on that! I love working in brown tones! And, I had to get these tags done for Karla Nathan's tag swap, so it worked out quite well, actually.

I created a bird song themed tag using vintage music paper, some Pink Paislee patterned paper, vintage and May Arts lace and a gorgeous bird stamp that will be released next month by Skipping Stones Design!

The edges are, of course, inked with distress inks to finish off the tags and a beautiful deep red paper flower (Retro Cafe Art) is on each one, as well.

I hope you like them, as I really enjoyed creating them!!!

  9. I love the tags! They are just precious. The lace looks so pretty on them - and that rose sets it off so nicely.

  10. Howdy Jingle, how are ya? I love your tags. I have to ask...did you put some micro beads at the top corner of your tags or is that some spatter marks in the paper design. I love the textural look of that. The tags are beautiful and like you I love the colour brown.
Hoping you are having a great summer.
